The Healesville Organic Farmers market is celebrating our 21st Birthday.  We established the market in 2004 to provide residents of the Yarra Valley with an opportunity to buy fresh organically grown produce direct from local farmers on a weekly basis. Since then is has expanded to include other local specialties including honey, seeds and seedlings, breads and bagels, homemade sweet treats, cheeses, mushrooms and locally roasted coffee. All fruit, herbs and vegetables sold are grown organically and other baked good are made from organic ingredients where possible.

A special feature of our market model is that although all of the stall-holders are the growers and makers of their own products, there is also a single fresh produce wholesaler present to fill the gaps with organic produce that is not available through the local growers.

We operate rain hail or shine and love our locals for showing up to support us regardless of the weather! To reduce plastics and food packaging, we encourage you to bring your own bags and baskets in which to pack your purchases.
