Bring your child (children aged 5-12) to this hands-on workshop. Walk in nature and learn how to identify trees, plants, birds and bugs…and become a Nature Detective!
The discovery of nature brings us to blue skies, green grass, and sunshine. As we look at the outdoors, we see trees with birds, plants with insects on them, and mud with tracks in it.
As we explore the farm, we will investigate trees, animal tracks, plants, and birds that we encounter on a walk in nature.
On this walk, you will learn how to walk silently in nature, listen for birds and recognize them by their song, spot animal tracks and learn how to follow them, identify trees and plants by their bark and leaves, and investigate bugs.
