This is an opportunity for the public to see the new permaculture-designed Upper Ross Community Garden, and learn how to build an inground BioWicked bed at home. The garden has been designed as a living seed bank and support base for local backyard food growers.
The garden uses a mix of EM composting and vermiculture to turn food waste into liquid fertiliser and soil for topping up the beds. There will also be members from the local permaculture group to answer peoples questions and give advice and there will be stalls with organic garden materials, natural cleansers, and permaculture principles card sets for sale.
