Event Description

On Sunday May 1 we’ll gather in a front yard in the Meadowgreen neighbourhood.

During this front yard permablitz, we will be digging a swale system to help slow, spread and store water in the soil; preparing planting beds with sheet mulch and applying compost extract;  preparing beds for planting native seeds; and retrofitting rain barrels to store water.

If you would like to volunteer or would like more information please email: permablitz@permasask.ca.

Permablitzes are a great way to learn about permaculture design in a hands on way.  No experience necessary. There’s a variety of jobs to do whatever you experience or physical ability.

To find out more about permablitzes click on the permablitz tab above or click here.
