Event Description

At our most recent blitz, we created some great curved raised beds made out of earthbags, and it’s now time to render them! To celebrate International Permaculture Day and share some skills we are going to get together and do the hessiancrete rendering of the beds! It’s a giant learning curve for us all so no prior knowledge is necessary, just a willingness to turn up and learn!

Bring a plate and we’ll share some food as well!

About the Organisers

Permablitz The Gong is an informal gathering involving a day on which a group of people from Wollongong come together to achieve the following:

  • create or add to edible gardens where someone lives
  • share skills related to permaculture and sustainable living
  • build community networks
  • have fun.

Come and enjoy a great day to see what permaculture is all about, and if you like it enough to come to three permablitzes you are eligible for one at your house!
