In preparation for International Permaculture Day & Compost Awareness Week 7-14 May, we are hosting our popular ‘Composting 101’ Workshop on site.
Composting is nature’s process of recycling decomposed organic materials into a rich soil known as compost.
Basically, backyard composting is an acceleration of the same process nature uses. Using compost in the garden is a great way to improve soil and your garden’s overall health.
Our resident horticulturalist Emma Daniell will guide us through some basics that include how to start, the best methods and other helpful compost facts.
