PEACE Farm is a 15 acre organic permaculture farm and small intentional community with around 5 acres of intensive fruit and vegetable production, chickens, sheep and goats. This tour will give you an insight into the different systems of the permaculture design at play here, including nutrient cycling, the production cycle from seedlings, to planting, to harvest and preserving, seed saving, and community living and economics.
The tour follows a free Wormfarming workshop from 3-4pm (sponsored by Yarra Ranges Council Gardens for Harvest program) so if you’d like to also join this workshop arrive at 2.45pm for a 3pm start. Otherwise arrive at 4.15 for a 4.30pm start.
Following the tour we will be having a Harvest Feast, Autumn equinox ritual and Soul Dance. All welcome!
