Wild Ridge Farm is a hundred-acre property situated on the lower slopes of Mt Toolebewong.
The farm is being developed along permaculture/agroecology principles to explore how well-designed and managed farms can not only be productive but enhance ecological function by improving biodiversity, soil function and water cycling, safeguarding these resources into the future.
We also aim to build community and share knowledge.
Things you’ll see on the tour are a thriving kitchen garden, a netted orchard system, rotational grazing, agroforestry including fodder systems, extensive bush regeneration plantings and energy-efficient buildings.
Look forward to seeing you all and introducing you to this emerging project.
Please wear sturdy shoes as this is a working farm.
