Permaculture is a contraction of both Permanent Agriculture and Permanent Culture.

In this writing workshop we will springboard off Maya’s exhibition “And they are Seeing You: the Gaze of an Alive World” that explores, among other themes, planting seeds for a sustainable culture that could evolve here in the Yarra Valley.

We will work with special writing techniques designed to free your voice and imagination, and collectively dream into other ways of knowing and being.

Food growing, architecture, art practices and rituals of work and seasonality will be re-imagined for their capacity to bring about a more beautiful and ecologically attuned human culture.

This workshop will be inspirational for artists, home makers, parents, policy makers, gardeners, farmers and visionaries of all stripes.
